Sold new by Medford BMW in Oregon and is said to have remained in the state and California except for a very short stint in Dallas at the dealer from which I purchased it.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V10 mated to a 7-speed SMG-III transmission, and the odometer shows 41k miles.
The car is finished in Silver Grey Metallic over Silvertone leather and optioned with Park Distance Control, heated front seats with active bolsters, Madeira Nutwood trim, a head-up display, a power rear sunshade, navigation, and a CD changer.
A new battery was installed and an oil change was performed approximately 1,000 miles ago.

Clean Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
Stock 19″ wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires show approximately 8/32 tread depth all around.
The M5 featured a lower ride height and tuned suspension from the factory. Ventilated and cross-drilled brake rotors are featured at each corner. The cabin is trimmed in Silverstone leather with Madeira Nutwood trim on the dashboard and center console.
Factory equipment includes heated front seats with active bolsters, a head-up display, Park Distance Control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power sunroof, cruise control, a CD changer, a power rear sunshade, manual rear side shades, and more.
A leather-wrapped, multi-function sport steering wheel was standard on the E60 M5. The transmission can be shifted manually via the gear lever or paddles behind the steering wheel.
