1974 Porsche 911S finished in Orange over a black interior with Houndstooth upholstered seats.
Featuring an original 2.7 L European flat-six engine paired with a number’s matching 5-speed manual gearbox, this 911S recently underwent a professional bare-metal restoration which included genuine RS fender flares, a ducktail rear decklid, and a custom reupholstered interior. This work was done by well known restorer Freddie Hernandez of Oregon-based Vintage Sportscar Restorations.
The enhanced appearance of this 911S has been matched with performance upgrades including Carrera chain tensioners, an M&K exhaust, new Bilstein Sport shocks, lightweight RSR sway bars, and a Stop-Tech big brake kit.
In 2019, this 911S was treated to a professional bare-metal respray in its factory specified single-stage Orange (156) Glasurit paint. During this time OEM steel RS fender flares were installed along with Porsche side graphics and a high-quality fiberglass ducktail spoiler with an OEM-style rear wiper option. All body panels were refitted to exacting factory specifications and the finish on this 911 is in pristine condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). New LED headlights have been installed with yellow lenses and matching lower fog lights. the clear lenses will be included with the sale. Other noteworthy features include pop-put rear quarter windows, a front spoiler, and European bumperettes.
This example rides on freshly restored Porsche 7” and 8” Fuchs wheels wrapped in new Pirelli S6000 tires.
The cabin has been completely reupholstered with new square weave carpeting and front seats with distinctive Houndstooth fabric inserts. Other features include a new RSR steering wheel, color-matched aluminum floorboards, RS-style door panels, black and orange Coco floor mats, and a Porsche classic radio with navigation and Bluetooth. This 911S carries its original European 2.7 L flat-six CIS fuel-injected engine (#6342052) that sends approximately 180 HP to the rear wheels through a number’s matching 915 5-speed manual gearbox (#7346614). The engine has been upgraded with Carrera chain tensioners, Turbo valve covers, new SSI heat exchangers, and an M&K stainless-steel exhaust system. Other upgrades include a big brake kit with Stop-Tech aluminum calipers, a fully overhauled suspension with new Bilstein Sport shocks and tower mounts, new adjustable RSR lightweight sway bars with adjustable drop links, Turbo tie rods, adjustable rear spring plates, and an adjustable bump steer kit. New rear axle shafts have been recently installed.
This pristine restored 911S came with its original 2 keys, original manuals, the warranty booklet with the original owner’s name and a Porsche toolkit.
